Rick joined the Missouri Asphalt Pavement Association in May 2019 as the Director of Business Development – St. Louis. A native of the St. Louis area, he has spent his professional career working in both small family run and large corporate business. Rick’s areas of expertise and experience include; business development, customer engagement, sales, marketing, and business administration. Throughout his career he has been involved in and held leadership roles in groups like The Chamber of commerce, St. Louis Minority Business Counsel, BNI and other mastermind networking groups. While engaging with clients and in his free time Rick enjoys sports and outdoor activities. Much of his time away from work is consumed with the activities of Rick and his wife’s four children.
Dale joined the Missouri Asphalt Pavement Association in 2010 as the Executive Director. Prior to accepting this position, Dale worked for 14 years for the Missouri Department of Transportation, with the majority of his career in the Construction and Materials Division. Dale’s experience on the DOT side gives him a unique perspective and thorough understanding of funding, design, and specifications. As the Executive Director of MAPA, Dale primarily focuses on promoting the use of quality asphalt, specification development, monitoring of state and federal legislation, new technology development and funding. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two, beautiful children, and is an avid outdoorsman.
